Don’t compromise your stance or your core belief system just
too merely gain a few temporary people who are not loyal to you anyhow.
What makes you
great, is the fact that you are an individual, who is carefree enough with your
style and thoughts that you cannot be control by one’s systematic web of delusion.
Challenge what you don’t understand by FIRST seeking to gain knowledge about it, and then ask the right
questions. My father continued to question us as kids by saying “well why?” He
wanted us to learn from an early age we did not have to settle or compromise
who we were. He taught us the importance of speaking up for yourselves, and not
hiding from the FEAR of precaution from
others. A key phrase in our household was “BRING
IT” and it still is.
One thing I have learned is that some people are not ready
for your realness or your truth. The great thing about that is they don’t have
to be ready for you to be YOU. It is time to stop thinking about what other
people will think of you, allow yourself to be authentically you.
Working with others does not mean I have to compromise what
I think, feel, or believe in. It just means I need to respect the fact that
they don’t see life as I do. With that being said don’t push your thoughts or beliefs
on others.
I am a Christian and I LOVE EVERYONE even those who don’t
think like me. I make it my mission to show the love of God to everyone without
even saying a word about God sometimes. I don’t try and convert people I pray
that God would touch their hearts and minds. Praying for a person does not mean
I need to broadcast it to the world.
The point I am making here is that one should never change
who they are to make others feel more comfortable. The other point I am making
is be confident enough in what you believe that you don’t feel the need to push
it on others if they clearly don’t want it.
Stay true to who you are and God will take care of the rest.
