Don’t Compromise

Don’t compromise your stance or your core belief system just too merely gain a few temporary people who are not loyal to you anyhow.

What makes you great, is the fact that you are an individual, who is carefree enough with your style and thoughts that you cannot be control by one’s systematic web of delusion.

Challenge what you don’t understand by FIRST seeking to gain knowledge about it, and then ask the right questions. My father continued to question us as kids by saying “well why?” He wanted us to learn from an early age we did not have to settle or compromise who we were. He taught us the importance of speaking up for yourselves, and not hiding from the FEAR of precaution from others. A key phrase in our household was “BRING IT” and it still is.

One thing I have learned is that some people are not ready for your realness or your truth. The great thing about that is they don’t have to be ready for you to be YOU. It is time to stop thinking about what other people will think of you, allow yourself to be authentically you.

Working with others does not mean I have to compromise what I think, feel, or believe in. It just means I need to respect the fact that they don’t see life as I do. With that being said don’t push your thoughts or beliefs on others.

I am a Christian and I LOVE EVERYONE even those who don’t think like me. I make it my mission to show the love of God to everyone without even saying a word about God sometimes. I don’t try and convert people I pray that God would touch their hearts and minds. Praying for a person does not mean I need to broadcast it to the world.

The point I am making here is that one should never change who they are to make others feel more comfortable. The other point I am making is be confident enough in what you believe that you don’t feel the need to push it on others if they clearly don’t want it.

Stay true to who you are and God will take care of the rest.

Feelings Of The Oppressed.

The voice of the oppressed people cannot be heard, understood, or cared for by many of the privileged because they simply do not speak the language of the oppressed people.

Those who have been oppressed have a deeper understanding than those who have not suffered such injustice. Don’t waste your words on those who truly don’t care to see life as you do. Work harder to free those who crave true freedom.

"Thank You?"

Hey love thanks for stopping by. Leave me a comment and lets talk.

The words “thank you” are simple and sweet, but yet they are often hard to say or completely over looked!

Sometimes a thank you can get lost in translation. My older sister says “did I say thank you last month for doing this?” I usually laugh at her because I know she means it even if she forgets to say it in that moment.

However, there are some who have not quite mastered those two mighty words just yet!

Now let us talk about this, shall we?

If you are anything like me you find yourself being a natural giver, and many times with being a natural giver you can be made to feel like you have been used, mistreated, and abused for your kindness.

The sweet simple words of “thank you” may seem like nothing, but to a person who has given their all it can truly mean everything.

These small powerful words show one’s gratitude and appreciation for the actions of others. The words thank you shows that a person has taken time to reflect on what you have done for them in a heart felt way.

It demonstrates that she has an understanding that what you did, you did not have to do it for her since, your time is precious.

Recently, I had an experience where I helped a person for a while and was left feeling used while they praised everyone else. I am not one who needs the awards, but it made me feel like my sacrifice was not at all valued.

I suddenly had to realize that I was not in it for the thank you, and applause. I saw a need so I helped like any decent person would!

Even if no one else cares enough to say thank you, just know that God says thank you from the bottom of His heart. When you do kind things for others you make the heart of God smile.

When you do what is right God finds ways to bless you and pay you back for your acts of kindness.

No good deed goes without rewards no matter what some may think. I choose to see the glass as half full as opposed to half empty.

You have a heart of gold, and sometimes that heart can get hurt when it feels used. Take courage and stay positive. Even if no one tells you, you are a blessing that is changing lives! As always it has been great talking with you all. Until next time peace!!
